What do we mean by free annuity advice?
 
When you contact annuities-online, whether you contact us directly or your enquiry is directed to one of our affiliates, we will be happy to discuss your annuity requirements and offer guidance and advice without charge. You will be under no obligation to buy an annuity or any other financial product from us or our affiliates. We reserve the right to withdraw this offer at any time but not without your acknowledgement.

If you agree for us to make a recommendation or arrange a financial product then we will receive remuneration either by receiving commission from the product provider, agreeing a fee with you or a combination of both.

The remuneration we receive will depend on how you agree that we should be paid. The following options are available and will be agreed with you before any chargeable work is carried out. The option we agree with you will be determined by the amount of work deemed necessary to fulfil your requirements.
  • Option 1 (Commission Only): We will receive a commission payment from the product provider with whom we arrange a financial contract and you will not pay a fee
  • Option 2 (Fee Only): You will pay a fee. We can either offset this against any commission that would normally be paid or we will enhance your investment by removing the commission that would normally be paid
  • Option 3 (Fee and Commission): You will pay a fee and we will receive some or all of the commission that the contract would normally pay
The amount of commission that we might expect to receive varies from one contract to another. We will inform you of the amount that we would expect to receive.

'We' refers to both Annuities-Online and our affiliates.

If your enquiry is passed to one of our affiliates and you feel that the service above is not as described then we would like to hear from you. While we cannot directly control how our affiliates interact with you we will consider suspending any further enquiries to those affiliates that do not adhere to the principles above.
